Joel Comm, the well-known Internet entrepreneur has recently introduced a Sarah Palin action figure. I came across this story on Shoemoney’s blog. While I don’t agree with Palin’s political perspective, I think this is a pretty clever idea since she will undoubtedly make her mark on American popular culture whether she is elected to office or not.

Palin is already setting a trend with her eyeglasses. I’ve read a couple opinion pieces bashing the politician for not wearing contacts or getting laser eye surgery. But others are calling her style a new trend in women’s fashion.

There are two action figures, one in professional dress and the other in a more racy “superhero” outfit. It will certainly be interesting to see how many of these dolls Joel can sell before the election.
