Top Chef Miami is a culinary competition on the Bravo TV network that I watch regularly. The show pits chef contestants against each other each week in a cooking competition – the chef with the worst dish goes home. Tonight is part two of the Finale and the winner will be announced life during the broadcast beginning at 10pm Eastern Time on Bravo.

I am rooting for Casey as she seems to have the best attitude and personality and has really been a top competitor in nearly every episode. The one I absolutely do not want to win is Hung… he’s an arrogant ass who has gone out of his way to be a jerk throughout the competition and has not made many friends. His excuse is that he’s not there to make friends, just to win. Well that may be true, but at least be a human along the way.

Brian was another one of my favorites but he was eliminated in the first Finale episode as he suffered dearly while preparing something other than the seafood that he is so used to as Executive Chef of Oceanaire in San Diego. During his exit interview he was very correct in suggesting that the show be renamed “Top Dish” because each week the contestants are solely rated on their cuisine and not on their abilities as a chef – who is responsible for leading an entire kitchen staff and planning and executing an entire menu.
